Since earning my Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech University in 1999, and later completing my Doctor of Education degree at Houston Christian University, I have dedicated my career to supporting children, adolescents, and families across a wide range of settings, including group homes, shelters, transitional living programs, community mental health agencies, and private practice.

Over the past two decades, I have also specialized in developing innovative initiatives and implementing impactful community-based programs for individuals of all ages within both government and nonprofit sectors. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to creating meaningful opportunities that promote growth, resilience, and well-being.

Throughout my career, I have been honored with numerous awards and recognitions that reflect my unwavering passion for helping children develop the skills necessary to understand, express, and manage their thoughts and emotions effectively. By fostering healthy communication, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills, I empower young people to build stronger relationships and access opportunities that can positively transform their lives.

My professional mission is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to be heard, understood, and equipped with the tools needed to thrive. Through counseling, education, and community engagement, I remain committed to helping individuals and families reach their fullest potential.
